My teaching philosophy
Music is meant to be enjoyable, I want to foster an environment that feels safe and that makes you want to work hard while blending the intellect and emotion together in the art of music. My goal is to help my students learn the discipline of piano practice that creates independence and pride.
Background
Alanna has been playing piano for over 20 years and has had performance experience through various avenues such as playing for church services, college level ensemble, weddings, and coffee shop performances.
Trained in classical and popular music and studied through three different instructors.
Alanna has written sheet music for and conducted a choir. Passed two thresholds in college.
Taught piano music for a year.
Alanna has been composing music with the main interest in cinematic music.
