What lessons are like
1. Weekly 30 minute lessons.
2. We will cover theory, technique, performance, artistry, musicality.
3. Homework will be given at the end of the day on the day of the lesson. This will be through email.
4. To play music you enjoy, the goal is to help you find the music you like.
5.During your first lesson, you will be given an assessment that will help guide us to your books that fit your appropriate level.
What you will need
1 A piano - electronic or acoustic will do just fine with 61 to 88 keys with some exceptions. Weighted keys are a plus
2. Music stand
3. A metronome - There are many free apps

Meet your teacher!
This is a meeting to help us get to know each other.
We will talk about your goals and what lessons will be like.
Think about what your favorite music is
This can be done in person or through google meet.
This is a 30 minute meeting.
Composition
After a strong foundation of learning theory and musicality there's an option for learning the skill of composition. Learn Melody, harmony, writing rhythms, progressions, motifs etc.
You can have you music printed and an MP4, and add your own lyrics. This cost the same a lessons.
Recitals
Have you ever wanted to perform in front of an audience? There is opportunity for recitals! This is a pending process and it will commence in the Canton OH area.
Location
In person lessons will be at my location. There will be provided music and a seating area.

Policy
Missed lessons- Sometimes life calls for cancellations. I do not expect payment for a missed lesson, however if this is consistent the missed lessons will need to be paid for.
Make up lessons - I do not offer make up lessons but I offer video feedback this will cost half the price of the lesson.
Teacher absences: If I need to cancel, your lesson will be reimbursed.
